X-rays MAY be taken on the first visit if the doctor and patient determine they are necessary or will benefit the patients health outcomes to help them meet their goals. No! While there are obvious times to exclude the use of radiation (such as pregnancy), there are no studies that show that diagnostic X-rays cause any form of documented bodily harm. Absolutely yes! In fact, at Advanced Chiropractic and Wellness Center we believe the earlier we catch an obstruction to the nervous system, the better the body will function over time! Many children are born with birth injuries that can be very easily and VERY gently corrected. For example, during childbirth doctors must rotate the baby’s head in order to get the shoulders out of the birth canal. This can cause a simple misalignment in the cervical spine of the child that may cause his or her jaw to hurt which can make latching very painful. We have personally seen many children have a much easier time breastfeeding once this misalignment is corrected. Our pediatric spinal adjustments are done either with gentle instruments and/or gentle hand contact.

No! At Advanced Chiropractic and Wellness Center we do NOT tie patient’s into long care plans. We are able to apply credits to patient’s accounts if they wish to pay ahead of time, but it is NEVER a requirement to purchase multiple visits at one time.

Yes! Medicare will cover chiropractic visits for most patients. However, Medicare does not always cover X-rays in a chiropractic office, so If you have previous X-rays be sure to bring them along on your first visit. If you do not have X-rays, you can discuss your options with the doctor on your first visit.

Yes it can! Depending on the cause of your headache/migraine, chiropractic can be very beneficial in decreasing the frequency, severity and duration of the headache/migraine. Advanced Chiropractic and Wellness Center typically treats headaches and migraines that arise from the neck by using the Atlas Orthogonal technique in which a very precise and VERY gentle force is used in order to correct any misalignments of the cervical spine.

Advanced Chiropractic and Wellness Center is a great place for you if you have any of these conditions! While degeneration is not reversible, we can slow down it’s progression by enhancing the body’s center of gravity. Also, scoliosis is not always correctable, but it can be safely adjusted to help limit any symptoms that may arise from the curvature of the spine.
